Ever since the establishment of the Women’s Cricket Association in 1926, in England and the first Test Match between the Australia Women’s Cricket Team and the Women’s Cricket Association of England, women’s cricket, has come a long way. Today, names like Ellyse Perry, Smriti Mandhana, Indu Barma, etc have become household names in the cricketing world. They have inspired many youths, motivating them to Dream Big.
Nepal’s Women’s Cricket team debuted on the international stage in 2007, in ACC Women’s Tournament in Malaysia. After becoming a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for T-20i in 2018, there has been no looking back.
The Cricket Association of Nepal has also been adding new dimensions in women’s cricket and the current Nepal Women’s T20I Tri-Series 2025 is another brick in strengthening women’s cricket in Nepal. It is not just a cricket tournament between three countries – Nepal, the Netherlands, and Thailand; but a movement that inspires women to step forward and redefine societal roles. Being held from January 30, 2025, to February 7, 2025, at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Women’s cricket is here to inspire change, both on and off the field.
Nepal’s women’s Cricket’s journey in striving for success didn’t happen overnight. It had to go through its fair share of challenges and struggles, but the reward has been unparalleled. Just as cricket or any other sport provides a platform to expand their horizons, education also catalyzes both personal and professional growth. Taking into new possibilities, pursuing a dream, and exploring new and diverse opportunities has been a step to personal transformation, ultimately leading to changing your game.
We at Professional Educational Consultancy, encourage all youths to Dream and achieve BIG. We have been associated with much youth-focused basketball and Football and for the first time, we are associated with an international sporting event, i.e. Women’s T20I Tri-Series 2025.
Indu Barma, Captain of Nepal’s Women’s Cricket Team, is our Brand Ambassador, whose persona reflects our values and is a role model for many youths. She is leading Nepal in this tournament. She is in her way, a champion both on and off the field.
