PTE Academic is widely accepted by universities and governments in major study destinations, including:

It is also accepted in parts of Europe, Asia and the Middle East depending on the institution. 

PTE preparation time depends on your current English proficiency level. Most PTE preparation courses in Nepal are completed within 3 to 6 weeks, as the test is fully computer-based.

PTE Academic is a fully computer-based test with three main sections:

• Speaking & Writing : Read aloud, repeat sentence, describe images, re-tell a lecture, Short questions, respond to a situation, summarize group discussions, essay writing
• Reading : Multiple-choice questions, re-order paragraphs, fill in the blanks
• Listening : Summarize spoken text, multiple-choice, fill in the blanks, highlight correct summary, select missing words, write from dictation.

The total test duration is approximately 2 hours.

To achieve a high PTE score:

• Maintain accuracy in grammar and sentence structure
• Use a wide range of vocabulary
• Practice speaking tasks with clarity and fluency
• Focus on high-weight tasks (Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Write From Dictation)
• Improve listening accuracy for dictation-based questions
• Practice full-length mock tests regularly

Consistent practice and accuracy across all modules are required to reach 65+ or 79+ scores.
